Getting a Small Grant
DRC Partnership offers a range of grants to help local people and businesses within the New Deal for Communities area, realise their aspirations.
The New Deal for Communities area encompasses most of the PL1 4 post code area. A full list of eligible postcodes can be supplied, please call DRC Partnership on (01752) 562518 for further details.
DRC Partnership does not run an open funding policy and access to more substantial funding is through a separate process. In the first instance please contact the relevant Theme Coordinator on (01752) 562518.

Residents
There are grants for individuals studying for qualifications; the Revision for year 11 Bursary helps year 11 pupils studying for GCSEs at school and for those going on to further education theres the Bursary to Higher Education grant.
If you`re looking for training to help you get work or a better job, there are the DRC Partnership Pathway to Your Future Bursary and the Employment /Training grants - which can even help you to buy clothes and essential equipment for a job or training.
Community Groups
If you`re a local community group, a DRC Partnership Acorn fund could help out with a quick win of up £8000 to enable local projects and activities to happen promptly.
Businesses
Local businesses can benefit from two grants - the DRC Partnership retail security grant and small business grant.
The Small Business Support grant supports businesses within the NDC area by encouraging investment, helping to expand business activity and by improving the visual appearance of commercial premises.
The Retail Security grant enables eligible businesses to benefit from a security grant up to a value of £9000.
The latest scheme to help local businesses is Devonport Against Retail Crime, an anti retail crime initiative that links in with the successful Plymouth city centre scheme, Plymouth Against Retail Crime.
Grantnet
