Marlborough Primary School Support Package

This proposal is to address the DRCP priority of raising attainment levels within the school by putting in place a financial support package for an academic period of 3 years (Sept 2007 - July 2010).

This financial support will enable the school to enhance the curriculum in all areas, with specific focus on the School`s Improvement Plan, core subjects, key skills, cultural diversity issues and awareness raising and inclusion, and supporting the Healthy Schools agenda.

This support will also enable additional or enhanced extra-curricular activities to take place including off-site visits and support for in-school reward schemes, supporting pupils social needs and personal development, and parental and community involvement.

This proposal aims to produce a streamlined process that enables the school to plan for additional enhancement measures above those which the school could reasonably be expected to provide under business as usual.
