Acorn Fund
The aim of the Acorn Fund is to provide groups and projects, based in the New Deal for Communities area, with an opportunity to apply for funding to enable projects and activities to happen quickly. For example the money can be spent on training, purchasing equipment, room hire or community events.

You could be eligible for funding from either an Acorn 1 or Acorn 2 scheme, if:

  • You are a non profit community group or voluntary organisation working in the Devonport NDC area
  • You have a set of rules describing your aims and objectives
  • Your group or organisation has a bank account with at least two signatories and a treasurer to keep financial records

Acorn 1 - Grants of up to £1000 to be spent with a 12 month period
Acorn 2 - Grants between £501 and £8000 to be spent over a 2 year period.
